Large round 5 quart colander expands to use and when done collapse to store. Ideal for draining pasta, boiled potatoes or rinsing fruits and vegetables. For smaller rinse jobs you can use the colander in the collapsed position and the specially designed hole pattern allows for quick complete draining. The Progressive Colander performs all the same functions of a standard colander, but its flexible sides allows it to fold to 1/3 its original size to take up less space on the storage shelf or in the cabinet. To expand simply grasp the colander sides and with your thumbs press down on the colander and it pops to full size. To collapse place the colander on a counter top and press down while grasping the sides. Simple and no effort. The Collapsible Colander can even be cleaned in the dishwasher even while it is in the collapsed position saving you space in the dishwasher too.
